Great article and I could not agree more, though you can make some money doing online surveys don’t go thinking this will be life changing.
Also it is worth mentioning that you should be vary wary of companies asking you for money to participate these guys will rip you off, they are a waist of both time and money. All the best companies are free to join.

I’ve gone through a few of your articles regarding making money from different category of paying websites like GPT sites, social networks, dating ones and paid surveys.
All these articles are quite good, in fact some are extraordinary in that they tell of a paying service most of the people can’t even imagine. However many of them lack the ‘zing’ factor. In marketing, we have got two useful parameters: POP(Point of Parity) and POD (Point of Differentiation). A brand should have POPs -bare minimum essentials- of a category to be associated with the brands in that particular category. And it should have PODs in order to get ahead of the brands in that category.
YOU as a brand have been able to come up with the POPs but you haven’t got any PODs. This essentially means although most of the search engines would favor your website in the search results for carrying the right keywords in your articles, the visitors these search engines send to your website won’t spend that much time on it because you are not telling them anything radical which the other websites in ‘how-to-make-money-online’ category aren’t.
So what could you have done about it? To name just one strategy, for each of the articles that you have written listing a number of paying websites, write a detailed article for each of the websites that you have mentioned, explaining for each particular website:
1. how much money you yourself make,
2. what is the learning curve
3. How much time has to be spent daily
4. what are the pros and cons
5. what are the different payment modes
6. does the site pay promptly or delays payment without reason
7. what the shortcuts and tips that only an experienced user of the website would know.
Writing a separate for each not only would enhance your content rating, it would also make you more believable and authentic in the eyes of your users who would keep coming back for more. This would also serve as your POD as I haven’t come across any website in this particular category which is following this strategy. This is what marketing is all about.

I agree that it is hard to find legitimate paid surveys these days. i mean there are more scams out there than ever. but the thing is there many many real legitimate paid survey companies that operate online. it just take some time and expertise to weed out the scams from the the real ones. i am in the process of making a big list of all of them and post them here in a week or so. so be sure to check it out.
and about Affiliate marketing and adsense, i am 100% with you, its one of the best ways.

Paid Survey programs might pay well but it is hard to find a good paid survery program on the internet. i would rather stick to good old Affiliate marketing and adsense on blogs.
