It happened to me and many others. It really is hard to get your comments with links in them stick on YA. I think the best ways is to build your reputation first and genuinely help others without posting any links. After a while start posting links once in every other comments or so. Good luck.

I tried leaving some helpful comments on Yahoo Answers a couple of years ago. They e-mailed me and said my comment was removed because there was a link in it.. ?? I never bothered going back!

It wasn’t spammy or a blatant advertising link.. just a link to the article I was quoting.. as you suggested.

What’s the key to being able to leave comments with links on Yahoo Answers?
