5 Best Affiliate Marketing Networks for Beginners To Make Money Online
To make money online promoting affiliate products, you will need to find affiliate marketing networks. Affiliate marketing networks make it easy for you to find offers to promote based on category, payout, popularity and etc. And although there are many affiliate marketing networks out there, not all of them are worthy. Here are 5 networks that I consider to be the top affiliate marketing networks for beginners to start making money online:
![]()
Commission Junction
Commission Junction without a doubt is one of the biggest and most well-known affiliate marketing networks out there. Very easy to search through offers and find the ones that suit your needs. Easy to track and analyze data for conversion rates, traffic generation, and more. You also get an assigned account manager which can help you with any questions and concern you might have, which if you are a beginners, can come in handy. They offer a very flexible payment incentives.

ShareASale
Share A Sale is an international affiliate marketing company, which gives you the ability to promote more offers in more countries. ShareASale offers a referral program as well. For each person you refer to share a sale, you will receive (if they join) $1 and 5 % of all their future earnings.

eBay Affiliate Program
eBay affiliate program is very easy to to get started with. There are thousands of products in different categories you can promote and make money with. Of course, eBay is a global company, which means more products and services are available to promote in more countries. Another reason eBay affiliate is good not only for beginners but for anyone for that matter, is the name itself. You will have much more click through rate because of the name eBay. People know and trust the name, so they are more likely to click on the link on your blog.

Amazon Associates
Amazon affiliate is perhaps one of the first affiliate programs ever. Just like eBay, there are thousand of products to promote. It is easy to install a widget on your blog (specially if you use blogger as your blogging platform) which will promote product you choose. It also has the benefit of the name recognition which can be helpful for you in making money as a beginner affiliate marketer.
Maxbounty
Maxbounty is on of the fastest growing affiliate marketing networks today. They have tons of great products for you to promote, specially email and zip code submit offers. These offers are offers that in order for you to get paid, the only thing your visitors need to do is submitting their email address or zip code. It is very easy to make money with email and zip code submit offers specially if you are a beginner affiliate marketer. They also have a great team of account managers, that are more than willing to help you with any issues.
I know there are any more affiliate marketing networks out there. Sites like ClickBank which without a doubt is a great affiliate marketing network, and perhaps one of the best. But, ClickBank is not that easy to use for a complete beginner. And in this post, I just wanted to list the 5 best affiliate marketing networks for beginners to make money online as an affiliate marketer.

Swayam,
Sorry to hear that. To be honest it depends on a lot of things. And sometimes, you do get hunderds of clicks and no sale. Its all about testing with different things such as your landing pages, your call to action and etc. The best thing would be to look into your campaigns and test different things until you hit that one combination that converts those clicks to sales. Good luck.

That’s a good list as a starting point. eBay is one of my highest paying sources of affiliate income which remains remarkable to me seeing as everybody already knows about eBay.

I use both Commission Junction and Linkshare for my affiliate marketing. But honestly, I’ve made more money in referral commissions just by telling people they can save up to 25% on their online shopping with cashback programs like http://www.EbatesCashBack.com . It’s easy to give away coupon codes and discounts to stores like Ebay, Walmart, Target, Gap, JCPenney, Best Buy and other name brand stores.

Hi, I appreciate this list, but I just wanted to pose a question.
Why is it that you feel that commission junction is one of the best for beginners? I was always under the impression that it was one of the more difficult to get started with because apparently you have to apply with each merchant and get approved for each offer? Is that true? Also, aren’t the standards that the merchants on commission junction have pretty stringent?
It’s also interesting that your list of top five does not mention clickbank (although I do see you mention it in your last paragraph). It seems like clickbank is always mentioned as one of the first ones for beginners.
Would you possibly consider expanding on this post (maybe creating a “Part 2″) to explain more in depth about what you think is helpful for the beginner on each one of these affiliate networks?
Thank you in advance!

David,
I think CJ is the best for beginners simply because it has a lot of great merchants you can work for and it really is easy to use. Although you have to apply for individual Merchants, the process isn’t really hard. All you have to do is click a button and wait a few days to see if your approved or not.
About Clickbank, although it is one of the best affiliate programs out there, I think for a beginner, it will be very confusing to use CB. They have a very complicated process and even some of the terms used in CB like Gravity would spin a beginner’s head.
I am actually in the process of compiling a bigger list that will contain all the top affiliate marketing networks. I will post it here in the next few weeks or so.

I like Amazon the best. They have the best brand name recognition. For some reason I can’t get approved at Ebay, but that’s ok. I’m sticking with Amazon for the time being.

Army c…,
I have heard a lot of good things about Neverblue, although I dont have any personal experience with them. There are a lot of other good networks out there. But, I made this list mostly for beginners, and I wanted ad networks that are user friendly and easy to get started with for beginners.

Great resource. Thanks for sharing. I have tried Amazon Associates and its pretty easy to use. SquidUtils is a good tool to get its html codes. I’ve also tried Commission Junction but its a bit complicated (at least for me). So which of the five do you recommend for a beginner?
