Some of the tips above mentioned are very time consuming if you don’t have a blog or web site. Posting in forums could get you targeted traffic to your affiliate link but you need to make sure you can use the correct html or bbc code to enter into your signature if a forum allows you to have one. Too much spamming goes on in message boards these days. This is why many overlook links in signature files.
I miss the days when you could leave an affiliate link in a forum and not get it taken down.

Affiliate marketing is definitely a great money maker, especially due to to its ease of entry for beginners. Although its not necessary to have your own site, I find that it helps to at least have a blog that links to your affiliate pages to make you stand out from the masses and give a more personal touch to your promotions. People are still looking to connect to the person behind the website.

Thanks for the heads up Jason, I didn’t know Hub pages allow affiliate links. Thats very nice. Because most beginners have trouble doing the redirecting thing, plus redirecting also requires your having your own domain. So this is the perfect way for a beginner to get going. Thanks for such a useful tip Jason.

Great tips you do not neccesarily need a blog, or a website to make a living online but it does help. Writing hubs on hubpages is another good way to make money you might want to add to your list. High ranking backlinks, and tey allow affiliate links up to two per hub. They are very effective. Great list thanks!
