6 Best Sites to Make Money Freelancing Online
These days almost anyone can make money freelancing online. You can get paid as a freelancer to do anything from writing articles to programming, graphic design and more. If you can do any of the above mentioned work, then you can make money online as a freelancer. And if you don’t know where to start, here are the best 5 freelancing sites you can work for.
Programmingbids.com
Another freelancing site that focused mostly on computer programming. You can find projects from Web Development, Logos and Graphics to Access Databases, mySQL Web Templates, Animation and more.
Guru.com
Guru is the biggest and probably the most well-known freelancing site today. You can find projects to work on from Graphic Design & Multimedia to Writing, Editing & Translation to Finance & Accounting.
Rentacoder.com
As the name suggests, it’s more of a coding and programming stuff. This sites is famous for its small jobs leading to bigger ones. It has some very loyal costumers.
Elance.com
One of the most well-known and biggest freelancing sites is Elance. You can find projects as a Google adwords expert to wordpress expert and everything in between. Simply register and add your profile. Then look for projects you can do
Allfreelancework.com
A great freelancing site that covers a wide verity of freelancing works from writing to programming and the rest. It also has a very active forum where freelancers talk about their work and exchange ideas. Allfreelancework has a great community built around it. If you do join them, make sure to take advantage of it and make yourself know to the community. You will have a much better chance of getting more jobs as you will be able to learn from other freelancers the tips and tricks of successful freelancing.
warriorforum.com
Ok, this is not technically a freelancing site. Its a great online forum, an internet marketing forum to be specific, that I am a member of myself. Its the largest internet marketing forum and that makes it a great place to find freelancing projects. It has a section called “warriors for hire” which people can offer their freelancing service to others. The good thing is that unlike freelancing sites that charge a fee for each job, on warrior forum you don’t have to pay a fee. Its all free! You just put an add on the forum and tell people what you can do for them and your prices. Or you can search for projects that other members are looking to hire someone to do it fro them.
I would suggest to start by offering your services for a low price, and even if you can, maybe offer a few review style projects to show people what you can do. This method has worked for hunderds of people who are now some of the big freelancers who make good money on warrior forum as a freelancer.
One of the biggest benefits of freelancing is the fact that you do not need any financial investment. Many people start by doing smaller projects for lower prices and build their profile that way, and after a while they become known to people and start getting bigger jobs that also pay much more. In the beginning you might not make a lot of money as you will be trying to build a client base and get yourself and your work known, but if you do a good job, eventually you will be able to make a noticeable amount of money as a freelancer. Its a good way to make some extra money, while learning the ins and outs of freelancing. And who knows, maybe one day you will be able to say you make money freelancing online.

We just launched a site http://www.ataskfreelancer.com for professional freelancers and employers both. I myself used rentacoder (vworker) quite often but have since ceased much activity there due to personal reasons and other reasons pertaining to the customer service there. I signed up Guru years ago but never had any luck there…of course that was also in my beginning stages as a freelancer – thanks for the great article

I would also suggest adding O Desk (www.odesk.com) to your list. O Desk has become very popular and should not be overlooked as another place to showcase skills and services to those seeking outsourced help.

I’ve used Freelance before when I was first starting out with freelance writing but since then I’ve moved onto marketplaces.
It’s a good place to start and get introduced to how you can find clients though!
