If there is anything I would recommend to my friends on how to make money online is to become a freelancer. This is the easiest way to make money with no start up cost. Even if you can just write decently, there are a variety of job offers you can choose from and start earning. This was the route I chose to take a few years ago because I was broke.

Being a freelancer is up there being one of the best jobs ever, make your own time to work, can work anywhere and you practically your own boss. However it is very hard to keep yourself concentrated and to work as you can easily be found doing something other than working!

Freelancing is a great way to make money online, but it is alot of work. The best part is the flexibility that it allows.
It will also take some time to become established, but once a few regular clients are sending work, you can spend more time on work and less time promoting yourself.
