This was so helpful. I have had such trouble getting any traffic to my website, even though I spent months making it. I thought it would take off the moment it went live. Not true. There are a lot of useful tips in this post, some of which I already use. My favourite method of getting traffic is by leaving comments on other blogs. Naturally this only works well if you leave good comments as these are the only ones that will attract visitors.
It’s the same with leaving your url in forum signatures, unless you leave quality posts and replies in the forum they’re not really going to work for you.
