A New Phenomenon In Blogging Community Called BlogEngage!

These days almost anywhere you look inside the blogging world, specifically blogging communities, you will definitely notice one name that stands out amongst hundreds of other blogging communities, BlogEngage!

The name itself explains it all. It’s the name that gives you that instant recognition of a great community created for bloggers. I don’t personally know Brian (the founder of blogengage), but knowing the young history of blogengage and the fact that it has grown so much in so little time, and more importantly having to achieve such a real success amongst hundreds of social networking sites and blogging communities (some owned by giant companies) competing to be the next big thing, leads me to believe that the man behind blogengage is a dedicated networker with a passion for blogging and bloggers.

And that is why I wanted to get involved, and so I did. It has to be one of the best decision I have ever made related to growing this blog. I am glad that I did join blogengage, and here is why I think you should become a what I call “BlogEngager” or an “Engager“, if you aren’t already.

We all know that in order to become a successful blogger, in today’s blogging world, you need more than just a quality content and a good seo strategy. Today, successful Blogging requires networking with others.

If you look at some of the most successful and well-known bloggers like Daniel Scocco of  daily blog tips and Darren Rowse of  problogger, it is obvious that they build a reputation by networking with other like minded people. There is no doubt that in order to become a successful blogger, networking with others is a must. And what better way to network with other bloggers than participating in blogging communities.

But unfortunately,  not all blogging communities are created equal. So, not any blogging community will help you achieve the success you desire. You see, most blogging networks are out there to make money. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. Most of us want to blog because we want to make money any way. Making money is not the problem. The problem is most blogging communities are wiling to step on you and your dreams to achieve their own success. They are based on the interests of the owner and the few top bloggers who run the whole show. Good luck trying make a name for yourself out there and have your work be seen by other people.

In my short time experience as a blogger, I found out not many blogging communities are helpful to most of us. They are their to just make themselves bigger and gain more popularity.

Blogengage on the other hand, is one of the few blogging based communities that has a very unique and different approach towards it’s own goals and also it’s members goals.

What makes the blogengage so special? Well, let me ask you this, what is the most important thing for you when you want to network with others?… Perhaps being recognized and being respected for what you do, no matter how experienced or how inexperienced you are on the subject of blogging! Tell me when was the last time you got in touched with one of these blogging community leaders and got a direct response from the owner himself, and when was the last time you got a response(if at all) in matter of hours? My guess would be never!

This is exactly what I love about blogengage and Brian. Brian is one of those few blogging community creator that I have ever seen to be that mindful of his community. The first time I emailed Brian to get information about guest posting on BlogEngage, I thought to my self “well, this is going to be yet another guest posting request that I will never get any response back, or if I do, it will be sometimes, before I get that big fat no”.

So like any other time, I forgot bout it and went ahead with my daily tasks which as you might imagine, includes checking emails. Less than couple of hours later, to my surprise, I had an email from Brian himself telling me how pleased he was that I wanted to join his community. He gave me instruction on how to sign up for the gust posting. Now remember, I am no big blogger like Darren Rowse of  ProBlogger  or John from ExtremeJohn. No, I am just another newbie blogger who started blogging 3 months ago and have a long way to go, nobody even heard of my blog. Yet this guy who has a blogging community that is thriving and is destine to become a major player in blogging world, has taken time out of his busy day to personally reply to my email and tell me that it was his pleasure that I wanted to join in!

Are you kidding me! What more could you want from a blogging community? A blogging community owner that takes time to personally reply to his community members, a community that excepts you for who you are and doesn’t measure you by how new or “pro” you are to the blogging. Don’t know about you, but for me that was enough to join his community.

Unlike other big bloggers and blogging community leaders who without even giving me a chance to show my work to them would have replied ” oh sorry, you must have 10 post on some famous blogs in order to gust post here” (which begs the question of well if I never get the chance to do my first guest post, how am I supposed to have 10 guest post ever on any blog), Brian welcomed me and was willing to give my work a chance to be seen by him, without saying “since you don’t have any article published on any major site, you are not worthy enough.”

I know for a fact that many of us, specially new bloggers, give up after a couple of months of trying and not getting anywhere, because no one ever will give us a chance to prove our selves. As I said, in today’s blogging, you can not just rely on good content and seo to gain enough traffic and success. You need the help of others. That’s why it’s important to network with others, who are like minded, so you can learn what they know and teach them what you know.

Networking is one of the main ingredient of becoming a successful blogger. And what better place to build a relationship and start networking than a community that its owner is willing to give you a fare share of his success in order for you to succeed, because he knows and respect the fact that his own success is depended on the success of the each individual member and the community as a whole.

One of the most important thing for a blogger is getting quality targeted traffic. As a blogger, quality traffic to your blog, gives you the fuel to go on for another day of blogging. Guess what?
