BlackBerry outage that affects e-mail for every BlackBerry user!

Did the BlackBerry outage effect your email? I am sure you have heard by now about the BlackBerry outage that affects e-mail for every BlackBerry user. BlackBerry outage has been reported by many blackberry users. The outages is causing issues accessing email. It seems like BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) is unresponsive, as many blackberry users are unable to reach email, although many users are still able to get through.

I know this topic is not a topic i usually follow, but i couldn’t resist it. Its incredible to see how much technology is effecting our lives, and how a simple outage can cause this much damage.

It just caught my attention today, as to how we are so dependent on technology these days. A simple outage like this, can bring many businesses to a scorching halt. Not only for the blackberry users, but also for its maker. You know RIM (Research In Motion Ltd), the maker of the BlackBerry phone? Their stock had gained 59 percent this year, but this couple hours BlackBerry outage has caused their stock to fell 1.8 percent! Yes, it fell $1.14, or 1.8 percent, to $63.53 at 12:33 p.m. New York time in Nasdaq Stock Market trading.

Blackberry is one of those devices that has many big users. I mean the president of the united states of america has one and has said he is addicted to his Blackberry. I am sure the blackberry outage didn’t effect president obama’s email activity, lol. How about you? I hope not, but were you one of those users effected by the blackberry outage?
