How much money can you make blogging?…It’s the first question that comes to many people’s mind when they hear about the possibilities of making money blogging online. Making money blogging is like the hot new trend. First it was the blogging itself that become popular. Then people discovered that they can make money with blogs, and to be honest, blogging is one of the easiest ways to make money online. That is why now there is a huge interest in blogging, making money with blogging to be specific. So, how much money can you really make blogging?
The truth is that the amount of money you can make blogging on the internet depends on many different factors. There are different ways to make money as a blogger. Some bloggers choose to make money with their blogs by using Google adsense. Adsense is simple and quite profitable, specially if you have a popular blog that gets a fare amount of daily traffic. It might be hard to believe, but there are bloggers who make $5000 or more a day from the ads displayed on their blogs by adsense. Basically the more traffic your blog gets, the more people will see and click on those ads.
Every time a visitor clicks on one of the ads on your blog, you make money. How much? That depends on things that would require a whole new article or two to explain, such as the topic of your blog, keywords and so on. So, depending on those factors, you could get anywhere from $0.10 to up to $100 per click! yes $100 per click. But of course not everybody who sets up a blog is going to make thousands of dollars using adsense from the first day. It takes a long time of hard work and dedication to learn everything about adsense and blogging and everything in between to get there. But as an average blogger, with a blog pulling in 200 or so unique visitors a day, you could make around $10 a day or so. Although depending on your niche, it could be a lot higher than that.
There are other ways to make money with your blog as well, like affiliate marketing, creating and selling your own digital product on your blog and etc. But if your just getting into blogging, the best and easiest way to make money from your blog, would be adsense. You might not make thousands of dollars blogging, but you will make enough to keep you motivated towards working harder, so one day you can make thousands of dollars as a blogger. It takes less than two minuets to get your blog setup with adsense, but it takes the life of your blog to create quality content, and drive targeted traffic to it. As long as you can keep up with creating quality and useful content for your readers, and promote your blog to drive traffic to it, you can make money with your blog.

i think that your predictions are a little bit to high. are you sure that you could earn 10 dollars per day from the beginning ?
No I don’t think anybody can make $10 as soon as they have a blog up and running, and don’t forget these are not facts. Its just an average number. I know people who have been blogging for more than 2 years and aren’t making even $5 a day from adsense, and at the same time I know blogger who hit the $10 a day mark after only one month or so. It all depends on how hard and smart you work on your blog.

Hm. Hm. Hm. Adsense is alright as a filler I think, but there are much more lucrative CPA offers out there. However, you make a very good point about adding value, ” As long as you can keep up with creating quality and useful content for your readers, and promote your blog to drive traffic to it, you can make money with your blog.”. Exactly. You need to create value for your visitors to really do well. If there’s little of value on your site, then why would visitors come back?
I agree totally Jewin that there are many more ways to make money than adsense, but I think adsense kind of like the most known and its very easy to setup. So for beginners its a simple set and forget thing.
And your absolutely right about adding value. Like you said, if you dont provide valuable information, readers will probably forget about coming back to you.

Absolutely dwkblog. Niches like forex, weight loss, insurance and etc are very hot and competitive. So there is a big competition amongst advertises who use PPC services such as adwords for getting their ads shown first. So of course they end up paying way more than you would pay for an average ad, which is why adsense can pay you more for such clicks.
But these are rare case. I mean not every time someone clicks on an ad about … say forex, your gonna get $100. But its possible. Thats why people always are trying to build blogs built around popular niches, so their adsense will serve high paying ads on their blog.

Yup; PPC can get crazy. In some of the niches I work, $20 CPC is very common; though I haven’t seen $100 CPC (nor do I know how you would clear your cost on it without an outstanding landing page and incredible CPA deal), I wouldn’t be too surprised to see it.
My advice to any ‘newb’ would be to really, really stick it out. It takes time to learn the ropes AND develop your niche. By time, I don’t mean days or weeks; I mean months and years… but, its well worth it.
I absolutely agree Jewin, it takes some time and some very hard work, but when you get there, its all worth it.
Yeah, I guess it really depends on the domain, and traffic you get. I some people that make decent cash flow from it, but I don’t know of anyone getting rich from adsense.
TradePlacer, I dont know of anyone who is getting rich with it either. There are a few that really make good money, but for the majority its just another way to make some money to pay the bills.
