How to Make Money With Android Apps
Learning how to make money with Android apps is a smart idea especially for these days. No doubt that Apple’s iPhone was behind the mobile apps craze, but it seems like Android is taking over the smart phone market. Of course, making money with Android apps starts with creating an Android app and to make the most money possible using Android apps, useful apps are a must. With that said lets learn how to make money from Android apps.
Decide what kind of app you want to create
There are a 2 different types of Android apps, games and entertainment based apps and standard apps that can increase productivity. Both kinds of apps are popular and have huge potentials as long as they are useful and really quality apps. So, whatever kind of app you decide to create, make sure your app ends up being a useful app.
Creating your Android app
Java is what Android apps are made of. So, you have to either learn Java programming or you can go the easier route and hire someone with Java programming skills and pay them to develop an Android app for you. You can usually find programmers on freelancing sites like Fiverr or Elance for really low prices.
Making money with Android apps
Now, there are a few ways to make money with Android apps. But, to take advantage of these methods, you must submit your app to Android’s app marketplace and get it approved.
Submit your app to Android’s marketplace
To make money from Android apps, you have to submit your app to Android’s marketplace where you can sell your apps. The market place is run by Google and anybody can submit apps to sell. However, if you want to become a developer and submit more apps, you will have to pay a $25 one time fee. The best part about becoming a developer is that you don’t have to wait for review of your app. As a developer, as soon as you submit your app, it will appear in the marketplace.
From then on, the money will start coming in, as your app will start selling. Of course the better and more useful your app is, the more sales you can expect.
Make money from Android apps using direct advertisers
This may be a bit harder, especially if your app is new and not popular yet, but can be done. Simply contact different advertises and offer them to advertise in your app. This kind of advertising is becoming increasingly popular and so most companies do mobile advertising these days.
Make money with Android apps using AdSense
Yeah, it seems like Adsense is everywhere. Whenever the talk of learning to make money, whether it’s learning how to make money blogging or in this instance learning how to make money with Android apps, Adsense is there to help!
Jokes aside, Adsense is a truly easy way of making money with Android apps. To get started, sign up with Admob, which is Adsense for mobiles. Then follow the instruction in your Android marketplace account to add the Admob code to your app so you can start earning money. Admob works the same way as Adsense, every time someone clicks on one of the ads, you get paid. The more clicks you get, the more money you make.
Promoting your app
When it comes to learning how to make money with apps, whether Android apps, iPhone apps or any other kind, this one of the most important parts. While just being listed in the marketplace may bring you a few sales, promoting your app will bring you even more sales.
So, use whatever means necessary to promote your app. Put ads on free classified site like Craigslist and Backpage. If you have a blog, promote your app on it or better yet create a blog about your app. You can also submit your app to app review sites to be reviewed. It’s all about getting the word out there and making people aware of your app and what it can do for them.
That is basically how you can make money from Android apps. It may not be the best way to make money, but if you are a good app developer or at least enjoy developing new apps (even if you someone else to make the app for you), making money from Android apps can be a really fun way to make money. Of course, you will do much better once you get past the initial curves of learning how to make money with Android apps.

There are currently four different versions of Android, and it’s not hard to account for a few variations of the same app.

Making money with apps is simple if you know how to create and promote your app(s). First of all you have to build free apps to gain some customer base and they you can add premium features or even completely different version as paid one.
But still everything starts with good application and then comes the money making part.
Thanks for ideas!

In my experience the best business model to use is to give the game away free in order to build a sufficient subscriber base. Monetize the game by having additional micro payment upgrades to the game and additional features.

Good overall plan. There are many other aspects to making money with Android of course – I’m discovering this myself in my first year as an indie developer. It’s a very rewarding experience, and I’d encourage anyone with a bit of programming background and the motivation to give it a go!
