Ahmadinejad’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly, like any other time captured the attention of the politicians, media and ordinary people of all kind. but why? why do we allow such a symbol of inhumanity, denier of many peoples basic human rights and a holocaust denier, take a center stage in our biggest and most important meeting as a world community that is supposed to represent peace, love and rights for all man kind? i do not understand how united nations, whose job is to protect the rights and dignity of people of all nations, can give Ahmadinejad a world stage and give him time to sicken people around the world, with his hatred and hypocrite comment, but again united nation has some rules that can not take these rights away from world leaders. at the same time it is so sad and unbelievable that media out lets such as cnn devoted a long time in primetime to him and his full of hypocrisy speech. of course that’s what he wants, he wanted to turn the worlds attention away from the mistreatment and tortures of iranian who are in opposition to his regime. and like always the media who doesn’t care about anything but the rating, forgot about the thousands of under torture iranian for just voicing their opinion and disagreeing with the current iranian regime, and gave Ahmadinejad what he exactly wanted.
Not surprising, politicians and high & low level diplomats from usa, canada and many other countries walked out of Ahmadinejad’s speech in order to show him that they do not buy him and his hypocrisy. i am not that old, but i have been following world affairs and specially United Nations General Assembly meetings, and i have never seen nor have ever redden that, that many diplomats walked away on a world leader(if we can call him that) in protest against his words. more than half of the seats in that room were empty and despite the united nation controlled camera, trying to not show those empty seats, i think it is pretty clear that, this is the first time that politicians of that many country, have been outraged by a world leaders actions and have walked out of his speech. so congratulations president Ahmadinejad, for being the world number one annoying president! you had the gold medal for worlds dumbest when you denied holocaust and now you have added another great badge of honor to you collection. not to mention your nomination and winning of the most fashionable president of the 2008s medal for your hot and sexy “members only jacket”!
All jokes aside, i think that the media should learn from these diplomats and instead of dispersing his speech to people around the world, simply ignore him and maybe even block his opportunity to brain wash and sicken people with his dumb comments, and not give him the attention he so much craves, specially at this time. this could have not come in any better time for Ahmadinejad. while his regime is torturing and killing opposition leaders and folwers in iran, Ahmadinejad gets to take the worlds aye away from the human right volitions happening in iran, by turning the attention of the world, towards his stupid denial of holocaust and the matter of nuclearization of iran.
Ahmadinejad is a hypocrite like non other. not surprisingly though, the iranian regime is famous for its hypocrisy and the way it promotes human rights and respect for public opinion and at the same time not having any concern, non what so ever about iranians basic human rights and crushing and choking any public opinion against the regime. he takes the stage and talks about human rights and how humanity has lost its basic human values. how can you stand in front of the world and say that the world leaders should respect their peoples opinion and do what the public wants and need them to do, instead of focusing on their own agendas and interests, while your government is taking away the rights of its own people to freely speck their minds and torturing them?
As an iranian-american who lived under this fascist regime for more than 20 years, i am ashamed and embarrassed to have such an animal to represent the iranian nation in the united nation. while Ahmadinejad was rambling about how he would like to see peace and justice for people around the world, images of hundreds of iranians of all backgrounds moslims, baha’is, christians, jews and many other groups, being tortured and killed in downtown of many major iranian cities in the 80s,90s and even in 21st century(not counting thousands who were tortured and killed in secret prisons during those years, and those who are still being tortured and denied their basic human rights in iranian prisons), were getting brighter and brighter in my head. i was thinking how a so called human being can behave in such an animalistic way.
Listen to the hypocrisy of this sicko as he paint a picture of him self as a victim of terrorism! unbelievable! how can you be a victim of terrorism while you and your government have been terrorizing the iranian people and the world for that matter for the past 30 years. you don’t call torturing and killing hundreds of innocent people like people from baha’i fait who don’t even participate in politics, in the name of national security, terrorism? you don’t call killing an innocent bystander in a mass rally against your regime, terrorism? how about hundreds of jews and christians who were striped of their wealth, dignity and any rights they might have had, just because they pray in a different way? not to mention torturing and killing of thousands of muslims who simply disagreed with you and your regimes’ policies. mr Ahmadinejad, you don’t see any relation between these actions and terrorism? you don’t think that what you are doing to iranian people has anything to do with terrorism? what a dumb ass you are!?
How sickening and mad for a human being to stand in front of the world and lie about anything and everything important to the world community like human values and human rights, while denying his own people, their basic human rights. i hope that one day, the world and specially the media can wake up and see and show the true color of this blood thirsty fascist regime. lets wish for a day that Ahmadinejad and the likes of him will be brought to justice and persecuted for their crimes against humanity. lets wish for a brighter and more peaceful future ahead for iranian people and for people of all nations for that matter.
